The 90 minute tour of the roof was both educational and utterly fascinating seeing the cathedral from a completely different perspective.

OSHG Launch Event
Location: National Centre for Craft & Design, Sleaford
Time: 10am to 4pm
Over 100 people attended the launch event held at the National Centre for Craft and Design on the 26th April. The displays and archaeological finds drew a lot of attention, as did our star guest Francis Pryor. Francis, best known as a star of Channel 4's Time Team, is renowned in archaeological circles for his amazing discovery of a Bronze Age causeway at Flag Fen, Peterborough.
The launch was a great start for our group as it attracted many new members, generated public interest and gave us an opportunity to meet representatives from Sleaford Museum Trust,Sleaford History Group and other local societies. As a result, several opportunities for the OSHG have been forthcoming. Many thanks go to the staff at the NCCD and ArtsNK who made us very welcome and helped us organise the day.
